Hidden Source Code Problem

Install Symantec Endpoint in Win 7 for Win 7 users

Symantec Antivirus Endpoint -software. Installer has to be updated before the application can be succesfully installed.

1. Run LUSETUP.EXE from the SEP client folder
2. Click Yes to install LiveUpdate (this might be hidden by another window)

Problem Between Office HR and Me

Our Office got fully freedom Since before I join. From Start on Last week. HR ask me to give them attendence filter file between 7AM-10AM and 12AM-3PM. Actually they have online report system. They are really lazy to check manually. It makes me V.Troublesome. I only know Just Excel filter function. May be Ok with MS Accesss. But I don't know It has Transformation Service or not. That's why No way to use MS Access. I have to use SQL. No experience on SQL at all. That's why I m doing KwiSiKwaSi to my SQL experts frds. ehhehe


DBA man says I need three steps

If you are using Network Service to run your sight you might get this error " Application pop-up: w3wp.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x73585d55" referenced memory at "0x00000018". The memory could not be "read"."
or an error similar to it. This is caused when the .NET\Framework\\webengine.dll crashes. This is do to the fact that The Network Service does not have special permissions to .net registry settings. Please do the following steps to fix the problem:
Navagate to
1.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ASP.NET_2.0.50727\Names (or whatever version of .NEt framework you have.
2.Start Regedit and navigate to that key.
Right-click "Names" and select Permissions on the context menu.
Click Add and enter NETWORK SERVICE, click "Check Names" and click "Ok".
With NETWORK SERVICE highlighed in the "Groups or User Names" list click "Advanced"
On the "Advanced Security Settings for Names" dialogue highlight NETWORK SERVICE and click "Edit"
In the "Permission entry for Names" dialogue check the "Name" box is showing "NETWORK SERVICE" and put check marks against "Query Value", "Set Value", "Create Subkey", "Enumerate Subkeys", "Notify" and "Read Control".
Click Ok on all the dialogues and close regedit.

Ensure your application pools are reconfigured to run as NETWORK SERVICE (or at least all the ones you want to be) and restart them

On subsequent restarts the w3wp.exe crash should not occur.

Bali Trip on Nov25,2009 with my closed friends 9ppl group

VOIP Issue Between MY and SG

1) Main Problem is one way call ( MA can call to SG ) after switching replace MA DVX with MA TX

i)I think this issue is NAT because all IPPBX are behind the Firewall. We have VPN Tunnel between these two sites. It shouldn't be. My concept is wrong . It's totally wrong. It is coz of Routing. I need to add inbound route at MA IPPBX server. Wahhh So funny thing and confused Issues. I've been headache for that for about one month.

ii)I added some codecs at MA sites also so that they can call to DVX7090 and they will know eachother

8)Change pwd for AMP and SQL

1. Manager password
You need to update the manager (service) and freepbx (client).
1. edit /etc/asterisk/manager.conf and change the password in the [admin] section (bubba illustrates this pretty well in his post)
2. edit /etc/amportal.conf and change the password for AMPMGRPASS (again, bubba did a nice job on this one)
2. MySQL password
This is probably the one people screw up (I did). You have to not only change the password for the database (service), but for ALL clients to the database, this is freepbx and asterisk (asterisk and asterisk_cdr).

1. mysqladmin -u asteriskuser -p password from the shell (where is replaced with the actual new password - mysqladmin will prompt for the _old_ password). This changes the DB service.
2. edit /etc/amportal.conf and change AMPDBPASS to the new password (replace amp109 with the new password). This changes the amp mysql client.
3. edit /etc/asterisk/res_mysql.conf and change the password = line (again, replace amp109 with your new password). This changes the asterisk mysql client
4. edit /etc/asterisk/cdr_mysql.conf and change the password= line (again, replace amp109 with your new password). This changes the asterisk CDR mysql client

Creating SPF record inside DNS server

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is a type of DNS record created to help stop Spam. A lot of anti-spam filters include a filter to look for SPF records and if they are forged, block the messages. The easiest way to describe SPF is to call it a reverse MX record.

To create an SPF record on a Windows DNS server is pretty easy, and if you run BIND, its just as easy. Open up the DNS Management MMC and drill down to your Forward Lookup Zone. Right-click and select Other New Records.

From the list of available resource record types, select Text (TXT) and then click Create Record.

Enter the following text into the Text field:

v=spf1 a mx ip4:mail server ipaddress ~all

Click Ok when you are done and the SPF record will be created.

Now you might be asking what the hell that means :) Well........

• v=spf identifies the record as a SPF record
• MX specifies that all MX records can send from this domain
• -all SPF queries that do not match will fail, however depending on the recipients filtering rules, it may still get filtered.
• - ~all SPF queries that do not match will "soft fail" and depending on your rules may or may not get filtered

** Need to create A record on our DNS server for client host ip address to declare that client will be used this mail relay*** otherwise we can got relay access denied error if we didn't edit inside DNS server
