Overcomming File Upload/download filesize limit in IIS6

1) Before you edit, make enable direct edit checkbox is on at IIS webserver properties





2) Find the metabase.xml file located in C:\windows\sytem32\inetserv and open the file in Notepad.


3) Search for AspMaxRequestEntityAllowed and increase the value. The default value is 204800 (200K). Setting the value to 1000000 will allow 1 MB file uploads.

You may now wish to uncheck the IIS property called "Enable Direct Metabase Edit".

To increase the file download size limit, repeat all steps above but in Step 3 find the parameter called AspBufferingLimit. The default download limit is 4MB.

DynIPSec Routing Crazy

I've been headache all outgoing traffics are passing through IPSecDyn. It take one day to get solution. It is cuz of I 4got to remove add route option. For Dynamic routing, no need to add static route inside firewall. Once it connected to remote firewall , it will create itself when it willup .


Unchecked Add route

PPOE and DDNS

1) Change Bridge mode in Router
2) Configure PPOE inside Dynamic line firewall






3) Change Wan to PPOE interface in default rules Lan to Wan





4) Create Dyndns account at www.dyndns.com and point to current WanIP you get it from PPOE and create DynDns under Misc inside PPOE firewall





5) Create IP Sec and IP Sec Rules . It's done
